With over 25 years of experience in IT, Herman’s managed several enterprise initiatives that consolidated services, streamlined processes, and lowered overall city operating costs. His experience spans various industries; defense, manufacturing, healthcare, software development, advertising, and now local government. Herman aims to bring efficiency, transparency, and productivity to the government by leveraging technology. As CIO for the DA’s Office, Herman leads the effort to transform a government law firm laden with paper to a digital one that rivals any private sector organization.

He has been a Security and Compliance leader having covered areas such as Cyber Security, Security and Risk Operations, Cloud technology assessment, IoT (Internet of Things) security, IT Governance, and Compliance with clients such as Apple, Flextronics, and Philips. He has built multiple departments and security programs from the ground up and speaks at many forums covering topics such as Security Convergence and the Future of Identity. Amit advocates – “Security is everyone’s responsibility” and appreciates each one of you in keeping your organizations safe.

David ChunChief Information Officer and Associate Vice President

David Chun currently serves as the CIO and Associate Vice President at Sonoma State University. Prior, he was the CIO of Hamline University in St. Paul and the Assistant Dean of Technology at the University of Miami, leading early digital transformation initiatives. As a Distinguished Engineer in Residence, he held faculty appointments at the Herbert Business School, teaching Technology and Innovation courses. Chun has held senior executive leadership roles in corporations in Japan, South Africa, UK, and the Netherlands throughout his career. He received numerous recognitions for his service to global organizations focusing on education, children, health, and digital interactivity.

Krupa Srivatsan, Director of Product Marketing

Krupa is Director of Product Marketing at Infoblox. She has nearly 20 years of experience in technology in various roles including software development, product management, and product marketing. Currently, she is responsible for messaging, positioning, and bringing to market Infoblox’s security solutions that ease security operations and provide DNS-based security. She has an MBA from the University of California, Haas School of Business, and a Computer Science Engineering degree.

Bob Turner, Field Chief Information Security Officer – Education

Bob Turner is the Field Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Education at Fortinet, Inc. where he serves as a senior-level strategic business and technical advisor responsible for the development of security thought leadership, strategy, threat, vulnerability & mitigation insights, and world-class practices for the cyber security community and business executives.

Prior to this position, Bob was the CISO at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he led the development and delivery of comprehensive information security and privacy program. His team provided a full scope of information and cybersecurity services including risk management and compliance, HIPAA and cybersecurity risk assessment, a full-service security operations center and security tools support, cyber forensics, cyber intelligence analysis, security awareness, and information technology policy. His previous experience includes managing consultants focused on cybersecurity policy and compliance with the assessment of information systems and cybersecurity inspection for education, healthcare, installation management, and energy clients.

Bob also served in the U.S. Navy for 23-years as an enlisted telecommunications operator then as a commissioned Communications and information systems officer. He earned BS and MS degrees in Management and Information Security and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and with National Information Assurance Training Standard certificates as a Senior Systems Manager and Systems Certifier issued from the Naval Post Graduate School. Bob also graduated from the 14-week Enterprise Cybersecurity Leadership course at the Professional Development Academy.
