Jason Wilcox is Chief Technology Officer at Yield Solutions Group. He is an accomplished technology leader and data storytelling enthusiast. He joined YSG after years of building an award-winning managed IT service provider and architecting IT and development teams in the financial services sector. Jason holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master’s Degree in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University.

At YSG, Jason’s teams are busy providing white-glove IT support for a distributed employee base and building a robust financial service/consumer/analytics micro-services platform to support a startup with double-digit year over year growth.

Monique Sendze, Chief Information Officer
Colorado School of Mines

Monique Sendze is the Chief Information Officer at the Colorado School of Mines and has over twenty years of technology leadership in the public sector. Sendze is an experienced technology leader with a demonstrated history of working in the state and local government industry where she’s held roles like Director of Information Technology, Director of Technology Strategy, Chief Operating Officer & Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at several state and local government organizations as well as in the software development industry. Sendze holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Organizational Development. Outside of technology leadership, Sendze has leads efforts around developing organizational culture, leadership development, organizational development, and talent management.

Jim Stephens, Chief Information Security Officer | Vice President Infrastructure
TransMagic, Inc

Jim is the Chief Information Officer for TransMagic, Inc., providing leadership and engagement of secure technology solutions geared to maintaining and growing business operations and infrastructure for TransMagic a leader in Power Tools for 3D CAD Data that supports the Automotive, Manufacturing, DoD, Aerospace, Machine Shops, and more industry-wide.

2020 starts TransMagic’s 19th year in business and the last 7 ½ years Jim has developed and implemented a secure cybersecurity program from endpoint protection, unified threat management, security information and event management(SIEM), risk analysis, penetration testing, mitigation/response, and most importantly security education for employees creating a successful enterprise business solution.

Cybersecurity is not the only responsibility as he engages in daily operations, development, and support. His belief is if you do not understand what is going on in operations and product development, how can you grow and protect the business!

He has certifications with Microsoft, Endian, Novell, and NetApp. Currently, he has attended several CISSP courses working towards his CISSP Certification as well as Ethical Hacker, Cisco Meraki, and Palo Alto Network certifications.

Scott Blumenreich, Chief Innovation and Technology Officer
City of Centennial

Mr. Scott Blumenreich is the Chief Innovation and Technology Officer for the City of Centennial, Colorado. Mr. Blumenreich joined Centennial in 2015 to design, build, and lead an Innovation Team (i-team) funded through a 3-year grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies focused on embedding innovation in government. In conjunction with launching the Innovation Team, he architected the City’s first enterprise-class IT department, leading to the formation of the Office of Technology and Innovation.

In the course of his multi-faceted career, which began as a grant-based research biochemist, Mr. Blumenreich has served in executive and consultative technology roles both nationally and internationally. Having transitioned early in his professional life to lead technology transformation efforts in the Pharma and Biotech industries, Blumenreich’s maxim for leaders in both the public and private sectors is to, “Create with Compassion…Disrupt with Discretion”.

Mr. Blumenreich holds an M.S. Degree in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and emphasis in Genetics from Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colorado. Most importantly, he clears his mind by playing the drums with musician friends and his favorite Prog Rock bands.

Doni Chapman, Director of Information Technology, SAP

Doni Chapman is a Director of IT at Patterson Companies, where Doni is responsible for Enterprise Applications for the US Dental and Animal Health businesses. Doni has 20 years of experience in IT, providing strategic vision, deploying technological innovation and solutions, and managing daily operations in support of the enterprise business services. Doni has deep roots in being aligned with the business and its customers and has a strong understanding of both its strategic and tactical initiatives. She has a passion for driving a collaborative culture that aligns IT to the business and for driving innovation in technology to advance the business.

Andy Atencio, Information Systems Director
Summit County Government

Andy Atencio is a certified ITIL Expert and Organizational Development Process Certified Professional. He has worked in IT for over 28 years, in various roles from support to leadership. Andy is the Information Services Director for Summit County Government after severing as the Chief Technology Officer for the City of Greenwood Village for 18 years. His focus has been helping not only his public-sector organization but other organizations, understand the cultural and organizational impact of IT Service Management. Leveraging his Master’s Degree in Organizational Behavior and psychological personality expertise to foster the shift from technology being about things to being about people.

John Bruno, Cyber Security Executive

John Bruno is a Cyber Security Executive at Darktrace, the world’s leading AI company for cyber defense. At Darktrace, John works with leading organizations in a range of industries from private equity to media and entertainment to deploy and operationalize cutting edge technologies. During John’s tenure at Darktrace, the company has grown to 4000 customers and has been the recipient of numerous achievements, including: Fast Company Most Innovative Companies 2018, Forbes Cloud, and CNBC Disruptor 50. John holds a bachelor’s degree from the Catholic University of America.

Brian Monroe, Digital Security Architect
BPX Energy (a division of BP)

Brian has over 25 year’s security experience as an engineer, architect, manager, director, and CISO. Security leadership experience includes Manager of Security Engineering with Level 3 Communications, CISO for Denver International Airport, Head of Security for Datalogix and Oracle Data Cloud, and currently as Security Architect for BPX Energy, a division of British Petroleum.

Brian has been responsible for the security of environments meeting PCI, HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, GDPR, and other regulations and controls. His experience spans traditional networks, AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Sam Farajian, Chief Information, and Digital Officer

Sam Farajian is the Chief Information and Digital Officer for Toastmasters International in Englewood, Colorado. Toastmasters International is a professional association with 350,000 members in more than 140 countries. Toastmasters’ mission is to empower individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders.

Sam is an experienced technology leader, supporting organizations with a mission of helping and empowering people. For more than twenty-five years, he has served in various industries, such as for-profit, non-profit, and start-up organizations. His focus and experience are to optimize information technology services, digital strategy, and transformation. Sam believes fostering collaboration is critical to creativity and innovation, with a focus on continuous improvement and the customer-centric approach.

Sam holds a B.S. in Computer Science/System Architecture and M.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Rich is excited about the transparent approach VCom takes in ensuring they deliver the values of time, information, and savings to our customers every day. Rich makes his home in Boulder, Colorado where he loves to ride bikes, hike, chase big powder days in the winter, spend time with his family, three dogs, and volunteer as a coach for the 8x State champion Boulder High mountain bike team.

Paul Connaker, Vice President Sales

Paul Connaker has been in the tech industry for nearly two decades and currently serves as the Vice President of Sales for vCom Solutions. In his previous role with the company, he oversaw the organization’s vast Software and Services Team, helping to manage customer’s IT spend conversion and onboarding to vManager, vCom’s IT Lifecycle Management platform. Paul has held virtually every customer-facing role in the organization during his 13 years at vCom. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.

Michael R.Pegues, Chief Information Officer

Michael Pegues was appointed by Mayor Richard C. Irvin as Chief Information Officer for the City of Aurora, Illinois in June 2017. Michael began his career working in various IT Support roles for AT&T and Pepsi-Co in the Greater Chicago Area. Michael has worked for the US Department of Defense as a civilian Automation Management Officer in Vicenza, Italy. In addition, Michael has held various senior IT positions in Hewlett-Packard France, Vodafone Hungary and Morgan Stanley in Budapest, Hungary and New York, New York. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from DeVry University and an Executive MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management from Central European University Business School from Budapest, Hungary. Michael is a proud Veteran of the US Army.

Rick is CISO of Carolina Complete Health, a state healthcare plan for Centene Corporate. Rick has run ethical hacking, application security, incident response & forensics, and risk management teams throughout his 25 years in IT Security.  Rick has been the first CISO for two companies. He has also consulted as a virtual CISO for many industries and companies around the world. Notable roles over the last 20 years have been as a Risk Management consultant at Gartner, Chief Scientist for Lockheed Martin’s Center for Cyber Security Innovation, and Managing Principal in the Professional Security Services practice at Verizon.
