Julio Gonzalez joined US MED in 2017 as SVP, Chief Information Officer. In his role, Mr. Gonzalez is responsible for transforming the systems and technology that drive US MED’s business in a highly competitive healthcare-related segment. Julio is a Miami native and has spent over 30 years helping South Florida companies in the areas of healthcare payer and provider, transportation, and travel/tourism reduce costs while improving business value by tightly integrating business and technology strategies. Julio is an accomplished public speaker who has presented at industry conferences on topics such as security, compliance, and service delivery and has held board positions at several South Florida non-profit and educational organizations. Julio holds a Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.

Kamalika SandellChief Information Officer
New Jersey Institute of Technology

Kamalika is the Chief Information Officer for the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Prior to joining the New Jersey Institute of Technology, she was the Associate Chief Information Officer, serving as the second in command for the Office of Information Technology. She ran the Enterprise Systems unit within the Office of Information Technology. She has extensive experience running several information technology organizations. Prior to joining AU, she served as Business Information Officer/Director for IT Risk and Information Security at Capital One, a global diversified fortune 500 financial services company. Kamalika has expertise with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, program management, IT controls and governance, process re-engineering and large scale system implementations.

Leo Scanlon, Chief Information Security Officer
Versant Health

Leo Scanlon is the CISO at Versant Health, a cutting edge vision care management company that services more than 35 million Americans. He retired from federal service in January 2020 and last served as DHHS Senior Advisor (“single point of contact”) for the HPH sector. He directed the creation of the Healthcare Cybersecurity Communications and Information Center (HCCIC) which supported the HHS Office of Emergency Management during the WannaCry and notPetya events– the first mobilization of a federal emergency response organization to a national cyber emergency. In over 20 years as a cybersecurity practitioner, he has pioneered the use of risk management strategies required under FISMA and has gained expertise in the use and implementation of the NIST Risk Management Framework.

Yabing WangDeputy Chief Information Security Officer
Carrier Global Corporation

Yabing Wang is the Deputy CISO at Carrier Global Corporation. She is responsible for security architecture, engineering, and operations for all security domains including Identity and Access Management, Network, Endpoints, Cloud, Data, Application, and other tools for cybersecurity management. Yabing is also leading security strategies and executions including the Office of CISO and Program Management Office.

Yabing has more than 23 years of extensive experience in technology and cybersecurity. She also has a track record of leading cybersecurity organizations, setting security strategies delivering, and operationalizing security capabilities and services. Yabing thrives to solve business problems and technical problems, and partner with all stakeholders to make security a differentiator and value-add for the business. Prior to Carrier, Yabing was the Vice President of Global Security at Alight Solutions and the Chief Security Architect at Allstate Insurance Company. Yabing also worked at Netscape Communications after she obtained her Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Bill Hobbs, Chief Information Officer
Hood College

Bill Hobbs was named Chief Information Officer at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland in May
2018. His primary responsibilities encompass a variety of strategic technology initiatives: cybersecurity, governance and policy, resource allocation, academic services and the information technology organization. Prior to joining Hood College, Bill spent 18 years in IT leadership roles within higher education. Most recently, as the CIO and Chief Learning Officer for Wingate University in Wingate, North Carolina. Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in Biological Science from Florida State University and an M.B.A. from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.

Bob Hansmann, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Security

Bob Hansmann has been in the cybersecurity field for over 20 years, working on the commercial, government, and vendor side of the conversation. He helped launch the industry’s first security offerings for file servers and web gateways in the ’90s as a product manager and continues to work on innovative security initiatives and best practices. Today, Mr. Hansmann is focused on making threat intelligence more actionable, automated, and quickly available across a broad spectrum of the security portfolio.

Jason Rader, National Director, Network & Cloud Security

Jason Rader joined Insight in 2015 as the National Practice Director of Security. He is charged with managing Insight’s security portfolio including strategic consulting offerings and technology-focused solutions. Jason has over 20 years of experience and has a deep understanding of the skills, tools, and methodologies required to deliver true solutions related to today’s security challenges. He likes to be known as a “business consultant who happens to be a security expert” and not the other way around. This approach has afforded him success because it requires vision beyond security projects and focuses on business outcomes. Jason is known for his expertise in operationalizing security and being a thought leader and sought after speaker in the threat intelligence and security operations spaces.

Before joining Insight, Rader was the Chief Security Strategist and Director of Cyber Threat Intelligence for EMC’s Security Division, RSA, where he was focused on developing enterprise security management strategies in the areas of health care, government, and the financial sector. He also led the RSA Research group in the collection and publication of cyber threat intelligence related to the latest cyber-attacks and advanced threat groups.

Tom Hearn, Regional Engineering Manager
Insight, Cloud + Data Center Transformation

Tom Hearn is a 16 year veteran of the IT industry predominately on the customer side where he started in software development and moved into hybrid roles across development, security, infrastructure, and cloud. He was a customer of Insight for 10 years in the transportation and financial services industries before joining Insight where he leads the Southeast architecture team. He drives the technology direction and focus of the team as well as maintaining a hands-on approach utilizing his previous experience on the customer side with those looking at approaching cloud, automation, hybrid data center, and containerization.

Tom is based out of North Carolina where he lives with his wife Susan and son Carter. He is a self-proclaimed technologist at heart and can still be found writing code and deploying various technologies to Insight’s Innovation Hubs as well as his own personal lab.

Andrea holds a bachelor of science degree from The Ohio State University and is based in Darktrace’s Atlanta office.
