Todd Bell, Executive Director Information Technology Security and Chief Information Security Officer
Todd Bell serves dual roles like the Chief Information Security Officer & Executive Director of IT Compliance at Valleywise Health in Phoenix, AZ. As a strategic business and technology leader, Bell drives and champions the company’s enterprise vision, strategy, and programs to protect patients, critical data, and clinical systems both within the organization in conjunction with Arizona Health Education Alliance.
As transformational security and business leader, Bell has more than 20 years of experience in IT and security strategy and execution having held senior leadership roles with many of the world’s most recognized Fortune 500 brands in various capacities. Most recently, Bell served as Chief Security & Trust Officer for Verdigris Holdings, a mobile banking platform to open financial markets to the under-served of banking. In this role, he was a critical leader in securing the company’s enterprise API network of SaaS vendors and turning the technology model to 100% cloud. For over a decade Bell has served various roles in corporations bringing steadfast leadership and “turn-around” expertise.
Bell has served two Board of Directory positions for two Special District public utilities in North Colorado Springs, Board Advisor to Forticode, Board Advisor to Versive, Board Advisor to Cloud Central. Bell is published across the globe for his contributions to technology & cybersecurity.
Paul T. Cottey, Chief Information Officer

Paul T. Cottey is Water Street’s Chief Information Officer. He collaborates with Water Street’s family of healthcare companies to engage and align their information technology strategy to support their business growth objectives. During a nearly 20-year career with Accenture, he consulted with numerous corporations on their IT strategy as an Executive Partner. He oversaw IT initiatives for a variety of companies during his tenure with The Gores Group. He served as CIO of R1RCM, a leading revenue cycle management firm, and was CIO and an executive leadership team member of PatientMatters LLC. Mr. Cottey’s work has been published in many industry publications.
Sameer Khera, Chief Information Officer
Sameer Khera is a Senior IT executive with extensive experience driving global enterprise initiatives in world-class organizations. He is currently the Chief Information Officer at NortonLifelock. His current role requires that the company has the right talent, stays ahead of technology trends, and maximizes the value of technology investments. Sameer’s goal is to drive increased productivity, better efficiency, and strategic business partnerships through simple and intuitive experiences for our global workforce. Since being picked CIO Sameer has pursued an aggressive agenda to right-size the IT team for a consumer company while also driving significant digital transformation. In six months his team has moved many applications to the cloud, built a new data center, consolidated two ERP systems, and moved to new systems of engagement.
Sameer is passionate about enabling business through the use of technology and innovation. He has a proven track record in architecture, IT strategy, operations, business applications, cloud, and customer success. He is a global leader with international work experience in India, UAE (1987 to 1995), Australia (1995 to 1998), and the USA (1998 to present).
Jeff Scheetz, Chief Information Officer

Jeff Scheetz serves as the CIO for the City of Avondale, Arizona, where he leads diverse technology systems consisting of general government, public safety, utilities, and family services. Jeff holds a degree in Computer Science, an MBA, and in 2020 became a Certified Government CIO from Rutgers University and Public Technology Institute. Jeff has been leading local government in Arizona and Colorado for 13 years and has 14 years of experience in the private sector leading large scale software development.
Marcus Fowler, Director of Strategic Threat
Marcus Fowler spent 15 years at the Central Intelligence Agency developing global cyber operations and technical strategies, until joining Darktrace in 2019. He has led cyber efforts with various US Intelligence Community elements and global partners and has extensive experience advising senior leaders on cyber efforts. He is recognized as a leader in developing and deploying innovative cyber solutions. Before serving at the CIA, Marcus was an officer in the United States Marine Corps. Marcus has an engineering degree from the United States Naval Academy and a Masters’ Degree in International Security Studies from The Fletcher School. He also completed Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Advanced Management Program.

Joseph Kamau, Chief Security Officer

Joseph Kamau is the Chief Security Officer of Freedom Financial Network where he is responsible for the design, execution, and oversight of the company’s information security program. Joseph has spent close to 18 years solving difficult security problems by engineering and implementing usable security solutions across financial, retail and government sectors. Troy Philbert has over 25 years of IT and management experience at complex global manufacturing organizations. He currently heads up the Enterprise Applications team at ON Semiconductor. Troy obtained a Bachelor of Science in electrical and computer engineering from University of Missouri – Columbia and MBA from Ohio State University.
Anthony James, Vice President of Product Marketing
Anthony James is a seasoned technology and marketing executive bringing in 20+ years of marketing and product experience in the cybersecurity industry, Anthony leads as Infoblox’s VP of Product Marketing. He has held multiple executive leadership roles in Marketing and Product Management across a variety of security startups and well-known organizations, including FireEye, Fortinet, Cyphort, and TrapX to name a few. With his unique ability to dive deep into technology, he is able to develop messaging and marketing strategies with high value and differentiation and has a proven track record of increasing market share for companies of all sizes. Anthony holds an associate’s degree in Computer Science from the Sydney Institute of Technology in Australia, where he began his career before migrating to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1999 to drive innovation within the Silicon Valley scene.
