Kara Thorstenson is the Director of Digital Learning for Chicago Public Schools, the fourth-largest school district in the United States. She has supported teachers and students in accessing and utilizing digital learning materials at CPS since 2018. Her department’s priorities include systems interoperability, evaluating digital resources for quality and efficacy, and innovation in the AI space for K-12.
