Frank Budzisz, Chief Information Security Officer
Zelis Healthcare

Frank Budzisz has over 37 years of experience in Information Technology and Security, primarily in the healthcare cost containment and payments sectors. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for cybersecurity, enterprise telecommunications, network management, end user support, database administrative, application development and design, and infrastructure design and management.

As one of the original leaders of Zelis, Frank led the first enterprise infrastructure team as well as built the Information Security program from the ground up. Prior to Zelis, Frank was the Vice President of Technology at Viant where he was focused on IT infrastructure and advancements of technology solutions in the healthcare payments industry. Frank was responsible for the merger of MultiPlan and Viant technologies and lead the building of the organization’s first data warehouse.

Frank has extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions and currently operates as the Zelis Chief Information Security Officer, primarily focused on the strategic vision and further development of the cybersecurity program as well as leading initiatives for security protection and design for new acquisitions.

Frank is a Certified Common Security Framework Professional (CCSFP), one of the leading frameworks for information security risk management and used extensively in healthcare security programs.

Anil J. Saldanha, Chief Cloud Officer

Anil Saldanha is the Chief Cloud Officer at Rush University Medical Center. He is passionate about cloud transformation in healthcare with a special focus on FHIR and machine learning. As a leader for Cloud Transformation Projects in healthcare, he is working with the Chicago Department of Public Health on the Cloud-Based COVID-19 Data Hub. As an executive with an entrepreneurial spirit, Anil has various publications, patents, and volunteer experience.

Chris Carter, Senior Client Solutions Advisor

Umar (Chris) Carter is a Senior Client Solutions Advisor at Optiv who works with clients to find strategic security solutions to enable business capabilities, strengthen security posture, and enhance cyber resilience capabilities.

Previously, he worked as Global Security AVP at Zurich Insurance Group. As the Global Head of Cyber Analytics, he oversaw the coordination, development, and execution of a variety of complex information security programs and initiatives.

His current and previous experiences include designing strategies, defining target operating models, implementing roadmaps, assessing, and designing risk management processes, and leading the execution of enterprise-wide risk-based implementation programs.

His professional and philanthropic careers have allowed him to meet various thought leaders in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia. Passionate about developing and growing talent, Umar mentors and coaches professionals in the Cyber Security space across various verticals. His international experience includes working and living in EMEA, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. He currently holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master’s in Information Systems and several security certificates from ISACA, (ISC)², and AWS. Carter also holds a certification in Cyber Security Policy from Harvard Kennedy School.
