Eric Vazquez, Chief Technology Officer
Office of the City Clerk, City of Chicago
Eric Vazquez is a native Chicagoan and Design Thinking practitioner. Eric is the Chief Technology Officer for the Office of the City Clerk in Chicago. Eric’s work with the City Clerk Anna Valencia has been covered in publications for “Government Technology”, “Medium” and “Microsoft”. Grateful for an opportunity to serve the people of Chicago, Eric is responsible for bringing human interaction together with technology across departments, identifying and exploiting new technologies and driving overall Office technology strategy.
Julie Devine, Director, IT Business Enablement & Project Management Office
As a critical member of the Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, Julie Devine is a digital technology leader with a unique and adaptive mix of skills. She currently leads the IT Business Enablement function at Littelfuse, which includes IT Strategy, Digital Innovation, the Project Management Office, M&A integration, Vendor Management, IT Transformation, and Change Management.
Julie excels at building high-performing teams and IT functions from the ground up. With expertise in relationship-building and business engagement, Julie brings IT to the table as a trusted business partner, aligned with organizational and growth strategies. Julie takes pride in leading & motivating teams that consistently deliver results.
Julie also looks for opportunities to develop others and give back to the IT community. She currently is a Board advisor to Think IT, as well as the Think IT Women in Leadership program. Additional, Julie serves as a mentor the Barriers to Entry return-to-work program. In her prior roles, she founded and led a Women in Technology employee resource group, as well as built out the Women’s Leadership Development program.
Stephen Lavin, Chief Technology Officer
Stephen Lavin is the Chief Technology Officer at Redbox. Stephen and his team drive all technology innovation, technology transformation, product implementation and execution and deliver performance driven, low cost business product and technology service solutions for the company.
Prior to his role at Redbox, Stephen led all Technology initiatives at Outerwall Inc., the former parent company of Redbox, Coinstar and ecoATM. Stephen was responsible for innovation strategies for infrastructures and operations, technology R&D, business process engineering strategies, and technology execution for new adjacencies and new ventures as a shared service across the enterprise.
Stephen has also held various technology leadership positions in Chicago at RedSky Technologies, Abbott Laboratories, and Arthur Andersen.
A native New Yorker, Stephen attended Brooklyn Technical High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree from New York University. Stephen currently resides in Chicago.
Wiktor (Victor) Mikos, Chief Information Officer
Wiktor (Victor) Mikos has spent over 20 years in Systems / Network Engineering, IT Infrastructure & Operations leadership positions in the financial technology and ecommerce arenas. His approach has always been very hands-on in overseeing global IT and data center environments, mentoring and guiding distributed teams, implementing best practices to everyday operational undertakings, while shaping future strategic directions for organizations leveraging emerging technologies and innovations.
Wiktor has obtained both his graduate and post graduate degrees from Illinois Institute of Technology in MIS and Telecommunications Management fields and has received a number of awards and certifications in his areas of expertise over the years.
Kin Lee, Chief Information Officer
The Joint Commission
Kin leads the enterprise-wide vision for the development and execution of information technology for The Joint Commission Enterprise. Before joining The Joint Commission, Kin was the SVP at Kforce accountable for firm-wide technology and development strategy. Formerly he was the Global CTO of Aon Corporation for worldwide IT and service delivery strategy and operations. Prior to joining Aon, Kin was the CTO of ManpowerGroup responsible for all aspects of global information technology. Prior to Aon, Kin was the VP & GM of Honeywell Shared Services (HSS) in Shanghai China to support Honeywell expansion in Asia Pacific region.
Before transitioned to his Asia Pacific role, Kin was VP of Technology Operations at Honeywell. Earlier in his career, Kin served as a Director of IT at Lucent Technologies and held various technical and business management positions with AT&T Bell Labs and Network Systems.
Kin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Methods from the University of Illinois, a Master’s degree in Operations Research from Northwestern University, and an MBA in Finance and Statistics from the University of Chicago. Kin also graduated from the Senior Executive Program at Columbia University, Global Leadership Program at Harvard University, and Honeywell Senior Management Development Program. He is the current Class Secretary of Harvard Business School Alumni Bulletin, a board member of the Council of International Program Chicago, and a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
Jonathan D. Golder, Director Information Security & Fraud Governance

Jonathan Golder is the Director, Information Security and Fraud Governance at Discover Financial Services. He has been with Discover for more than 4 years, and in that time has also developed and managed the company’s first crisis management program, as well as building the company’s BISO and second line intelligence team. Prior to joining Discover, Mr. Golder was the Regional Officer in Charge (“OIC”) for Joint Combined Inter-Agency Task Force – Nexus in Southwestern Afghanistan. He also has more than 15 years of experience in information and national security.
Mr. Golder received a B.S. in Economics from the University of Houston a graduate certificate from Carnegie Mellon University.
Alex Bermudez, Privacy Consulting Manager of the Americas
Alex Bermudez serves as Privacy Consulting Manager of the Americas at OneTrust – the global leader in privacy management and marketing compliance software. In his role, Bermudez leads OneTrust’s team of Solution Consultants across the Americas, working with emerging and enterprise companies on data protection regulation solution implementations, focused on building and scaling global privacy programs. Bermudez has presented on a variety of privacy and security topics, providing deep insight into regulatory issues and practical approaches to compliance. Additionally, he helps facilitate OneTrust’s PrivacyConnect workshops across North America. Prior to OneTrust, Bermudez spent several years at a leading Healthcare Information Technology services organization where he gained valuable experience working with national healthcare providers to implement HIPAA-compliant workflow solutions. Bermudez is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E, CIPM) and holds a B.S. from the University of South Carolina.
M. Bukky Dasilva, Business Information Security Officer

Bukky DaSilva has been with Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) for over twelve years. She is a versatile, diverse, and accomplished compliance leader with a global perspective, extensive team building, team collaboration and mentoring capabilities. Highly experienced solutions provider across Health Care, Financial and Consulting Industries. Bukky designs, develops and implements Governance Frameworks, Cyber Security Compliance Awareness & Training Programs, Business, Financial, Information Security (IS) and Information Technology (IT) Controls & Policies, Privacy & Data Protection Controls and Process Solutions.
Bukky is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) and she obtained her MBA with a focus on Health Care Administration from St Xavier University here in Chicago. She is currently a Business Information Security Officer (BISO) at HCSC. An avid learner, Bukky recently enrolled in the Data Science cohort facilitated at HCSC by DePaul University. She is very actively involved in the Chicago area African communities where she facilitates leadership programs for young girls and immigrant women to help them successfully assimilate into the American culture. Bukky DaSilva is married with two children. She loves to travel and meet new, diverse people. She has had the opportunity to live and work in three different continents, Africa, Europe and North America.
Shane Hibbard, Director of Information Security
Shane Hibbard is the director of information security at Invenergy, a company that specializes in building and operating in renewable energy generation systems. He is an innovative leader with 20 years of information security experience working with enterprises to protect vital information.
Hibbard is passionate about technology and security. He specializes in strategic alignment of security initiatives with corporate goals.
Previously, Hibbard held technology and security roles at companies such as EDS, Intel, Redbox and KCG. He holds a GIAC Security Leader Certification from the SANS Institute and a master’s degree in computer, information and network security from DePaul University.
Chris (Umar) Carter, Global Head of Cyber Analytics

Chris Carter is an Information Security AVP and life coach. In his current role at Zurich as Global Head of Cyber Analytics, he oversees the coordination, development and execution of a variety of complex information security programs and initiatives. His experience also includes designing strategies, defining target operating models, implementing roadmaps, assessing and designing risk management processes and leading the execution of enterprise-wide implementation programs. His team is also responsible for the coordination of multiple workstreams that provide insights into Zurich’s global security posture.
His professional and philanthropic careers have afforded him the opportunity to meet various thought leaders in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia. Carter is very passionate about developing and growing talent. He currently mentors and coaches professionals in the Cyber Security space across various verticals. Carter’s international experience includes working and living in EMEA, overseeing and visiting operations in Asia Pacific and Latin America. He currently holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master’s in Information Systems and several security certificates from ISACA, (ISC)², and AWS. Carter also holds a certification in Cyber Security Policy from Harvard Kennedy School.
Robert Scuderi, Head of Technical Solutions-West
Robert joined BlackBerry through the acquisition of Good Technology in 2015.
Robert is responsible for leading teams that help corporations implement secure, software-based mobility platforms that lead to increased productivity and collaboration. Prior to joining Good Technology in 2013 Robert spent over 10 years in several senior technical sales roles within the Unified Communication and Collaboration business at Cisco Systems.
Robert has over 20 years of Technical Solutions development and leadership experience across multiple technologies and verticals which include Finance, Legal, Healthcare, and Manufacturing
Steve Weber, Former Sr. Director Information Security
OptumRx – United Health Group
Steve Weber, former Senior Director, Information Security and IT Compliance (Information Security Officer role) led OptumRx’s information security and IT compliance program. Steve holds CISSP, CISM, and CISA professional certifications, was with OptumRx for 6.5 years and has a combined 19 years of experience in the pharmacy health services industry. Previously held information security and IT audit management positions at CVS Health (Caremark), senior positions at Sears and Arthur Andersen and served as a board member of the International System Security Association (ISSA) Chicago Chapter for 6 years. Steve has been a conference presenter and panelist over the years for several local professional associations or industry events. Additionally, an active member of ISC(2) for 14 years and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Chicago Chapter for 26 years.
