Chris Carter, Global Head of Security Analytics

Chris Carter is an Information Security AVP and life coach. In his current role at Zurich as Global Head of Cyber Analytics, he oversees the coordination, development, and execution of a variety of complex information security programs and initiatives. His experience also includes designing strategies, defining target operating models, implementing roadmaps, assessing and designing risk management processes, and leading the execution of enterprise-wide implementation programs. His team is also responsible for the coordination of multiple workstreams that provide insights into Zurich’s global security posture.
His professional and philanthropic careers have allowed him to meet various thought leaders in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia. Carter is very passionate about developing and growing talent. He currently mentors and coaches professionals in the Cyber Security space across various verticals. Carter’s international experience includes working and living in EMEA, overseeing, and visiting operations in the Asia Pacific and Latin America. He currently holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master’s in Information Systems and several security certificates from ISACA, (ISC)², and AWS. Carter also holds a certification in Cyber Security Policy from Harvard Kennedy School.
Patrick Benoit, Vice President, Global Cyber Governance, Risk, & Compliance | Business Information Security Officer
Patrick is the Global Business Information Security Officer for CBRE. He was formerly the Deputy CISO for Cheetah Digital. He has been an Executive Business Partner at Experian; a Customer Delivery Executive and Service Delivery Leader at Dell; and owned a technology consulting company. He is a highly effective Business Leader with a mastery of Technology and Security. He is also a Writer, Speaker, and a continuous Mentor/Advisor, and Learner.
He has demonstrated repeated success guiding business strategy to achieve maximum positive business impacts with minimum resource expenditures. Patrick has a proven talent for building and launching global technology and security programs, grooming high-performing teams across all domains, plus guiding the digital transformation, enhancing the digital customer experience, driving and enhancing revenue using technology, and reducing risk to the business. He is a skilled executive leader, presenter, negotiator, and businessperson, able to forge solid relationships with strategic partners and build consensus across multiple organizational levels.
Michelle Hobbins, Associate Vice President of Information Technology
Michelle Hobbins started as Associate Vice President and CIO of Carthage College in 2017. She is responsible for all Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Library functions at the College’s 80-acre lakefront campus in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Prior to Carthage, she spent 9 years with Rockwell Automation, managing the IT/Security Portfolio, SAP Project Management, IT Compliance, and Governance. She also held multiple IT Management roles at MillerCoors and started her IT career with Accenture.
Michelle completed the Executive MBA program at Marquette University and holds an undergraduate degree from UW-Whitewater. She is a graduate of the UWM Strategic Leadership Series and SIM Regional Learning Forum and is a certified PMP.
Al Lindseth, Senior Vice President, Technology, Process and Risk Management

Al Lindseth is a highly effective senior executive with 25 years in the energy industry spanning a range of markets, products, business models, and disciplines. Al is known for driving the resolution of top challenges and acting as a change agent to effect turnaround situations. He has worked on critical industry problems as an external expert and as part of senior management teams and balances an understanding of entrepreneurial culture with the structure and discipline to achieve the high standards and controls of large public companies. Al was with PriceWaterhouseCoopers before joining Plains All American Pipeline in 2000 where he is SVP responsible for the design and functionality of process and risk management.
Carlo Spada, Global Director IT Audit
With more than 25 year of international management experience in Information Technology, Information Security and Change Management, Carlo is currently Global Director IT audit at EssilorLuxottica a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, frames and sunglasses including the legendary Ray-Ban and Oakley, lens technology brands including Varilux and Transitions, and world-class retail brands including Sunglass Hut and LensCrafters as well. In 2020, EssilorLuxottica had over 140,000 employees and consolidated revenues of Euro 14.4 billion. Carlo holds a Master’s Degree in Business Sciences and several professional certifications, including C-CISO. He also has extensive knowledge and experience of ISO27k, Change Management, Technology Innovation and Transformation. He previously worked in several industries in different companies such as Packared Bell / Nec, Wolters Kluwer, Iddink, Monuta and Trivento.

Blake Goins is a Cyber Security Manager at Darktrace, a global leader in cyber security AI. At Darktrace, Blake works with leading organizations in a range of industries to deploy and operationalize cutting-edge technologies. During Blake’s tenure at Darktrace, the company has grown to over 5,000 customers and has been the recipient of numerous achievements, including being named one of TIME magazine’s ‘Most Influential Companies’ for 2021. Blake holds a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Texas at Austin and is based in Darktrace’s Austin office.
Jim Johnson, Director, Presales Engineering – South
Jim Johnson has been working to end cybercrime for the past two decades. His career started at Blue Coat, where he helped customers with their struggles to mitigate risk in the early days of web filtering. Since then, he has worked with customer customers of all sizes and verticals providing solutions from F5, Forescout, and now Arctic Wolf. As the Director of Systems Engineering, he interfaces with several companies struggling with the operational aspects of cybersecurity.
