Jim Jones joined Great River Energy in 2003 and oversees the information technology division with primary responsibility to provide services and technology for corporate business operations, utility operations, wholesale supply and delivery functions, and support member-owner distribution cooperatives.

Jim has a leadership role in grid modernization to increase inter-operability and optimization of electric services. He is the executive leader of the enterprise-wide security program which ensures the security of Great River Energy’s physical assets, cyber assets, information, and personnel.

Fairview Health Services

Jim Brady is the Vice President of Infrastructure, Operations, and Information Security, and is the Chief Information Security Officer for M Health Fairview. Before joining M Health Fairview, Jim was the Chief Information Officer for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (DHS), the second-largest municipal health system in the nation with an integrated system of 19 health centers and four hospitals. DHS annually cares for about 750,000 unique patients, employs over 39,000 staff, and has an annual operating budget of $6 billion. James was previously the CIO at Kaiser Permanente Orange County and the CTO and CISO at Hawaii Health Systems. James holds 7 security certifications and a Ph.D. from the Nova Southeastern University Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences.

Shawn Surber, Vice President of Solutions Architecture and Strategy

Shawn Surber is Vice President of Solutions Architecture & Strategy at Tanium covering major industries and global accounts. Over his 20+ year career, he has worked his way up through the guts of IT, supporting applications, servers, desktops, networks, security, and most importantly, end users. In his work at major healthcare institutions, Shawn led efforts to modernize and operationalize IT Security tools, processes, and policies. At Tanium, he has helped a wide variety of customers achieve a better state of cyber hygiene through the effective application of principles of good operational and security practices. A passionate builder of teams and products, Shawn has led product management, technical account management, and technical solutions teams and is now responsible for Tanium’s technology strategy team which helps guide customers through their digital transformations.

Ron Draganowski, Principal, Data & Digital Consulting at RSM

Ron Draganowski is an IT leader in the business technology consulting space. In his role as principal at RSM, Mr. Draganowski leads the Application Development and Integration team which includes 150+ developers across several disciplines. He has significant experience with enterprise application integration, mobile and web application design, technology assessment, strategic technology planning, and business intelligence. Mr. Draganowski plays an important role in the successful development and launch of client projects. With extensive knowledge in ERP systems technology, as well as application integration and design, his experience includes working with clients from $50M to $1B in size, particularly those in technology, consumer products, retail, and food & beverage.

When he is not leading his RSM team, he enjoys singing in an amateur renaissance choir and spending time with his wife and seven children. Ron lives in West Saint Paul, MN.
