Jim Brady is the Vice President of Infrastructure, Operations, and Information Security, and is the Chief Information Security Officer for M Health Fairview. Before joining M Health Fairview, Jim was the Chief Information Officer for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (DHS), the second-largest municipal health system in the nation with an integrated system of 19 health centers and four hospitals. DHS annually cares for about 750,000 unique patients, employs over 39,000 staff, and has an annual operating budget of $6 billion. James was previously the CIO at Kaiser Permanente Orange County and the CTO and CISO at Hawaii Health Systems. James holds 7 security certifications and a Ph.D. from the Nova Southeastern University Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences.
Riaz Yusuff, Chief Information Officer | OHR

Riaz Yusuff is a Chief Information Officer of OHR at the University of Minnesota. Riaz started his career as a developer and played various roles including project manager, IT manager, and IT director. Before the University of Minnesota, Riaz worked at Capella University and Computer Science Corporation.
During his 19 years of IT experience, Riaz implemented several on-premise and cloud applications. With his dual master’s degree in IT and Business Administration, combined with broad IT experience, Riaz developed strong business acumen and skill to align IT’s culture to business culture.
Micheal Hermanson, Chief Information Officer
Micheal Hermanson is an accomplished technology leader with a strong track record of engaging global teams to successfully deliver innovative, well-controlled, and life-changing technology solutions. He is a people-focused IT executive with extensive experience in successfully leading complex rollouts at some of the Twin Cities most prestigious companies across varied industries. Currently, he works in the medical device industry leading the IT function at Smith’s Medical, and has previous experience in financial services at GMAC, consumer foods with General Mills, and agriculture with Cargill. Micheal received his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and his MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School. When logged off, he and his wife enjoy spending time outside with their two teenagers and a rambunctious golden doodle.

Formerly South Dakota’s CIO for 15 years with responsibility for all state government computing, telecommunications, state radio, and public broadcasting. He is a past President of NASCIO, a national organization of state CIOs, and a past President of MIX, a national organization of city and county CIOs. Mr. Doll named to Government Technology’s Top 25 Doers, Dreamers, and Drivers.

Joe Searcy, Chief Security Officer, HIPAA Security Officer
Joe Searcy is the Chief Security Officer & HIPAA Security Officer for Element3 Health in Denver, CO. He is responsible for all aspects of information and corporate security for the company. With over 20 years of diverse experience in information security management, network security, and system administration/engineering within both the Department of Defense (DoD) and the healthcare industry. Joe brings tremendous technical leadership, diverse knowledge, and operational expertise. Joe also operates a consulting company part-time with his wife and provides vCISO and consulting services to a small handful of clients.
Joe is also a US Army veteran and is the founder/president of the Joint Forces Veterans Alliance, a 501(c)(19) veteran nonprofit charitable organization, focusing on improving the health and well-being of veterans through recreational and educational activities.
Felix Kyei Asare, Deputy Chief Information Security Officer
Felix Kyei Asare the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer for Allianz Technology. His focus areas are IT Security Governance and Risk areas making up the Assurance Function (CISO), Security framework Governance Policies, standards, guidelines, and functional rules, Security Training & Awareness Program, Data Privacy, and Security Remediation Projects.
Felix has worked as a security expert in organizations ranging from finance, health, insurance, and media for over 13 years. He has spoken at several security events and conferences and mentors many students in cybersecurity. Felix holds a master’s degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Minnesota, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Valley City State University. Also, he has industry certifications such as; Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Amazon Web Services Certified Cloud Practitioner (AWS CP), VMware Datacenter Virtualization Associate (VCP5-VCA), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS).
