A veteran of multiple industries within and around the IT function. From Operations to Engineering, Sales to Security, he has led virtually every function in the space. A frequent speaker at industry conferences, advisor to publications and frequent contributor to forums on experience in redefining how the business of IT is delivered in a high functioning, high performing manner and regularly sought out for improvement.

He has a passion around making IT approachable and partnering with the business to ensure that IT is an enabler not a barrier to success. Regardless of the industry, frequently able to reduce the cost of IT while delivering improved quality and timeliness. Strong believer that IT starts with understanding the business and speaking in terms that are understandable.

Chad has experience leading Enterprise, Supply chain, Retail, Manufacturing Logistics, Professional Service and Financial Industry IT and Operations organizations.  He has led major SAP ERP implementations, overseen both insourcing and outsourcing.  Responsible for overseeing due diligence and creating post acquisition and divestiture organizations as well as integrating acquisitions.

Miles Edmundson, U.S. Chief Information Security Officer

Miles has been in the information security space for over 25 years.  He started getting his hands into external and internal vulnerability and pen testing.   From there he moved to social engineering and the policy and procedure disciplines.   He was Carlson Companies first global information security manager, overseeing 7 lines of business globally.  He has spent 10 years in the banking and finance verticals has the information security officer for a company wholly owned by Wells Fargo and as the CISO for Ceridian (a global payroll company).  He is currently the US CISO for Equiniti, a British company that acquired the shareholder services business from Wells Fargo.  In this role, he represents the US as part of the global Equiniti security.

He very much enjoys the international aspect of information security.

Dennis Keane, Interim Chief Information Officer

Dennis Keane serves as the Interim Chief Information Officer at Red Wing Shoe Company. In that role, he provides leadership and direction to all IT functions globally, including Infrastructure, Support, PMO, Application Development, Security, IT Business Partners, Business Intelligence and eCommerce. Prior to joining Red Wing Shoe Company in 2015, Mr. Keane worked for Bosch as Global Head of Engineering responsible for worldwide diagnostic software. Mr. Keane holds a Computer Engineering Degree from the University of Central Florida, and a Mini MBA from the University of St Thomas.

Bil Harmer, Americas Chief Information Security Officer

Bil Harmer is the Americas CISO at Zscaler.  In this role he engages security executives at a peer level to drive strategic change and facilitate industry wide collaboration on emerging security and privacy topics. While developing the Security and Data Protection program for SuccessFactors/SAP he pioneered the processes for security and privacy compliance used by Cloud vendors today.  Prior to joining Zscaler Harmer was the Chief Security Officer at GoodData Corp and the VP Security & Cloud Privacy Officer for the Cloud Division of SAP.  He has provided advisory services to Adallom, Integris, ShieldX Networks and Resolve Systems. He is CISSP, CISM and CIPP certified.

Rob Ludeman is the Director of Solutions Marketing for Business Applications at Pure Storage with a focus on helping customers simplify and accelerate their Microsoft, Oracle and SAP workloads.  Rob arrived at Pure in 2017 with over 20 years of experience at Oracle and Sun Microsystems in variety of Product Marketing, Sales Enablement and Product Management roles.  In his free time, he enjoys running, travel, watching his 12 year old son play sports, and following Manchester City in the English Premier League.

Richard (Rick) K. Peters, Director, Operational Technology Global Enablement

Rick brings more than 37 years of cybersecurity and global partnering experience working across foreign, domestic, and commercial industry sectors at the National Security Agency (NSA).  As Fortinet’s Operational Technology Global Enablement Director, working for Phil Quade (CISO), he delivers cybersecurity defense solutions and insights for the OT/ICS/SCADA critical infrastructure environments.  Prior to Fortinet, Rick led development of cyber capability across Endpoint, Infrastructure, and Industrial Control System technologies.  Previously, Rick also served as an executive leader supporting the Information Assurance Directorate at the NSA.  Earlier in his career, he served in a broad range of leadership and Engineering roles including Chief of Staff for the NSA Cyber Task Force and a 5-year forward liaison charged with directing integration of cyber and cryptologic solutions for U.S. Air Force Europe, Ramstein AFB, Germany.

He currently serves as a Director of Risk and Security at Cargill Inc. with focus on Product Development & Delivery within the Technology, Governance, Risk, & Controls team across Identity & Access Management and Automation.  He holds a master’s in Information Assurance and several security and enterprise governance certifications.
