Gary Gooden, Chief Technology and Security Officer
Gary Gooden new title is now the Chief Technology and Security Officer for Seattle Children’s (Hospital, Research, and Foundation). He was previously the Chief Information Security Officer. He reports into the Chief Information Officer for Seattle Children’s.
In his current role Gary has been driving the IT Security Strategy while executing against a roadmap that was created by him in an effort to modernize the Information security footprint within the hospital, research and foundation environment both from a technology and governance perspective (inclusive of the technology for physical security). This is been done in close collaboration with other IT departments and related business areas within the larger enterprise environment.
Gary who joined Seattle Children’s in March of 2019 previously held a similar role at Children’s Hospital Los.
Prior to joining Seattle Children’s, Gary spent the last 26yrs at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Amgen, Mattel and The Walt Disney Company in several IT executive leadership roles within Information Systems Infrastructure and Application Development and delivery.
KayCee Murray, Senior Vice President Information Technology & Facilities
Numerica Credit Union
KayCee Murray has worked in the financial industry for nearly 20 years and has held several positions at Numerica Credit Union in IT and Operations while advancing to her current position of Senior Vice President Information Technology & Facilities. Numerica is a $2.9 billion financial institution headquartered in Spokane Valley, Wash. They serve over 150,000 members throughout eastern Washington and northern Idaho. In her role, KayCee oversees digital banking and web development, technology infrastructure and security, business intelligence, core system operations, and facilities.
Garrett Whitney, Chief Information Officer

Garrett Whitney is the Chief Information Officer at Delta Dental of Washington, which provides dental benefits for more than 2.5 million people. He is leading a digital transformation to automate repeatable tasks, make data-driven decisions, and develop customer-centric approaches to their products and services. His leadership oversight includes infrastructure & operations, data & analytics, cybersecurity, software engineering, business process automation, and product management. Garrett resides in Seattle, WA, and is a veteran of the United States Navy.
Sayee K. Vaitheesvaran, Chief Information Officer
Washington State Gambling Commission
Sayee Vaitheesvaran brings 25 years of technology and leadership experience in both private and government. He is the CIO and Director of Technology in Washington State Gambling commission.
Sayee has a Bachelor and Master degree in Computer Science and a MBA from University of Washington, Foster School of Business. He is also a certified project management professional. (PMP)
Among other past employers, he worked for Employment Security Department, Department of Transportation (WA State Agencies) and Chempoint.com in Bellevue (Startup Company), Univar, Walmart. Sayee has played multiple roles as a Programmer, Project Manager, Product manager, Director, Consultant and now as the CIO.
Muddu Sudhakar, Chief Executive Officer
Muddu Sudhakar is a successful Entrepreneur, Executive, and Investor. Muddu has deep product, technology, and GTM experience plus knowledge on enterprise markets including Cloud, SaaS, AI/Machine learning, IoT, Cyber Security, Big Data, Storage, and chip/Semiconductors. Muddu brings strong operating experience with startups as CEO (Caspida, Cetas, Kazeon, Sanera, Rio Design) and in public companies such as SVP & GM role at ServiceNow, Splunk, VMware, and EMC. Sudhakar holds a Ph.D. and MS in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a BS in Electronics & Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
Daniel Graves, Chief Technology Officer
Daniel Graves is an enterprise software verteran of over 30 years, with deep experience in cloud, software development, security and AI. At Stanford, his graduate work in computer engineering was focused on AI and neural networks, and he interned at both Xerox PARC and the Rockwell International AI labs. Also at Rockwell, Daniel had development roles building the user interface for one of the first GPS devices as well as the 747 cockpit avionics display. At NeXT, Daniel had the incredible opportunity to work directly with Steve Jobs and learned a great deal about driving world changing customer experiences. At NetDynamics, Apple and Sun, he held Product Management leadership roles focused on developer tools. Next up was diving into the world of security at Symantec with Product Management leadership positions focused on data security and regulatory compliance and as the Cloud CTO. Daniel is currently the CTO at Delphix.
Puneet Thapliyal, Chief Information Security Officer
Puneet is the Chief Information Security Officer at Ginger, where he leads the overall strategy, direction of the product and IT security, and member data privacy. He is seasoned cybersecurity and networking executive with previous stints at Yahoo! and Oracle. Puneet is an active member and contributor to the OWASP, Cloud Standards Customer Council, and Cloud Security Alliance. He has extensive experience with cloud security and has helped build one of the first Firewall as-a-Service offerings. He holds multiple technology patents including in the areas of web app security and multicast protocol congestion control. Puneet has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from HBTI, Kanpur, and an MS in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Thomas Word, Senior Director, Cloud Platform Services
Thomas Word is currently the Senior Director, Cloud Platform Services for Trueblue, Inc. He has over 20 years of experience in IT to include over a decade of IT management experience. He received his bachelor’s from the University of Maryland University College in Information Systems Management, has held Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Comptia A+, Network + certifications, and more recently holds certifications for AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS Associate Solutions Architect. Thomas has been a key leader of transformational organizational change in recently migrating TrueBlue’s primary production datacenter to the AWS Cloud to include key business platforms that generate over 2B in annual revenue. Thomas is excited about moving TrueBlue into an optimization and automation phase where the true business value of the Cloud can be realized.
Amit Bhardwaj, Chief Information Security Officer
Amit Bhardwaj has over 24 years of experience in companies such as Lumentum, Rodan and Fields, Microsoft, AIG, Clorox, KPMG, and PWC. He has been a Security and Compliance leader having covered areas such as Cyber Security, Security and Risk Operations, Cloud technology assessment, IoT (Internet of Things) security, IT Governance, and Compliance with clients such as Apple, Flextronics, and Philips. He has built multiple departments and security programs from the ground up and speaks at many forums covering topics such as Security Convergence and Future of Identity. Amit advocates – “Security is everyone’s responsibility” and appreciates each one of you in keeping your organizations safe.
Joseph Todd, Deputy Chief Technology Officer
Joseph Todd is currently the Deputy Chief Technology Officer at King County, WA where he is focusing on innovating operations, and co-leading the shift of the organization to a product based delivery model.
Joseph has over 20 years of experience as a technology practitioner and leader including a background in accelerating the modernization and delivery of IT services in aerospace, software development, systems integration, enterprise collaboration, local government, and technology innovation.
Before his tenure at King County, Joseph served as CIO of the City of Tukwila, Senior Manager of Application Development and Collaboration at Alaska Airlines, and Senior Manager of Enterprise Collaboration and Application Integration at The Boeing Company.
Joseph enjoys tutoring students in math and science, working with schools on implementing technology in the classroom, and spending time running and hiking with his wife and son.

Drew Staudacher is a Team lead at Darktrace, the world’s leading AI company for cyber defense. At Darktrace, Drew works with leading organizations in a range of industries to deploy and operationalize cutting edge technologies. During Drew’s tenure at Darktrace, the company has grown to over 4000 customers and has been the recipient of numerous achievements, including The Golden Bridge Awards – Company of the year and Fortress Cybersecurity Award for Antigena Email. Drew holds a Bachelor degree from the University of Washington and is based in Darktrace’s Seattle office.
