Jim has 20+ years of leadership and professional development, focusing on the information security, risk management and audit disciplines. Prior to joining Conagra Brands, Jim worked for Cardinal Health as the VP of Information Security and Risk Management and Delphi Automotive as the inaugural CISO. Jim spent the early part of his career as an Intelligence Officer in the United States Navy. He was assigned to an F/A-18 squadron during Desert Storm, and had multi-year assignments in Australia and Japan. Jim has a MBA from Marymount University, and several information technology-related certifications.

Ray Biondo, Chief Information Security Officer, Beyond LLC

Mr. Biondo is a senior IT executive with over 35 years of experience in the specialized field of Information Technology and Information Security. He has led application development teams, infrastructure teams, and most recently an information security team with over 200 IS professionals. As CIO and CISO he’s worked in the insurance/reinsurance, healthcare payer and provider, financial and transportation industries. While maintaining a strong focus on technology and operations, Mr. Biondo envisions Information Security as an engine of innovation and value creator for business. Mr. Biondo’s leadership included the implementation of a risk-based IT security framework/strategy within one of the largest healthcare payer networks. Known for a collaborative and communicative leadership style, Mr. Biondo has the ability to recognize, nurture, and retain top talent. Mr. Biondo has been awarded by many industry groups for creating business value and championing IS innovation. As a strongly credible source, he’s frequently interviewed by such periodicals as Information Week, Crain’s, and two CSO50 awards by CSO Magazine.

Ricardo Lafosse, Chief Information Security Officer, Morningstar

Ricardo Lafosse is chief information security officer for Morningstar. Lafosse is responsible for IT risk governance, software and product security, incident management, and determining enterprise-wide security policies. Lafosse regularly presents on security topics at global conferences, including MirCon and ISACA CACS. Lafosse has more than 14 years of experience in information security for the government, banking, legal, healthcare and education sectors. Lafosse began his career in information security consulting in finance and manufacturing. Lafosse holds a Master’s in Information Assurance from the Iowa State University. He also holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional and Certified Information Security Manager designations

Dannie Combs, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer, Donnelley Financial Solutions

As SVP, Chief Information Security Officer, Mr. Dannie Combs has overall responsibility for cybersecurity, global data privacy, and IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance for Donnelley Financial Solutions. Prior to joining Donnelley Financial Solutions, Mr. Combs was the senior leader responsible for overall network security for U.S. Cellular, the fifth-largest U.S.-based wireless operator supporting ~5M direct subscribers and ~20M roaming partner subscribers. From 2001 to 2009, Mr. Combs consulted with a number of organizations to build and mature technology security programs and organizations as interim CISO, security architect, and more. Mr. Combs is also a ten-year veteran of the United States Air Force.

Shaoping Zhou, Vice President, Enterprise Architecture, Information Security Officer, TSI, Transworld Systems, Inc.

Shaoping Zhou most recently led the cyber security and enterprise architecture practices in Transworld Systems Inc (TSI). He has a wealth of experiences and knowledge in designing security architecture for highly sensitive data and applications in regulated operations, all aspects of security controls, and enterprise risk management and governance. He has optimized the development of the cyber security architecture in TSI by introducing machine learning to threat management, significantly leveraging managed security services (MSS), and simplifying security architecture landscape.

Frank J. Yanan, Former Global Head of Security Services, Zurich Services US LLC

Frank Yanan is the Global Head of Security Operations for Zurich Insurance, one of the largest multi-line insurance carriers in the world with 55,000 people in 170 countries. Reporting to Zurich’s global CISO, Frank is responsible for setting the vision, and establishing the strategy and program to ensure information assets are adequately protected through Zurich’s security toolkit. In addition, he leads Zurich’s global identity administration services team.

Arun DeSouza, Chief Information Security Officer, Nexteer Automotive

Arun DeSouza has extensive global IT and security leadership experience. He is currently Chief Information Security & Privacy Officer at Nexteer Automotive Corporation. Arun’s areas of expertise include security strategy, risk management, identity management, cloud computing and privacy. His current interests include the Internet of Things (IoT) and security analytics. Arun earned Master’s and PhD degrees from Vanderbilt University. He is a Certified Information Systems Security professional (CISSP). He has won multiple industry honors: CSO50 Award, Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leaders Award, CIO Ones to Watch Award and the Network World Enterprise All Star Award.

Darin Hurd, Chief Information Security Officer, Guaranteed Rate

Darin is an Independent Management Consultant and Security and Risk Management Leader. Currently he is serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Guaranteed Rate.

In the past he was Managing Director of Information Technology at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago where he had overall responsibility for information security with past responsibilities covering governance, strategy, planning, risk management and vendor management. Darin has spent over a decade advising firms on a variety of strategic technology challenges.

Darin holds an MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.

Carla Wheeler, Global Chief Information Officer & Chief Information Security Officer, Heartland Alliance

With over 15 years’ experience in technology and business solutions, Carla heads the Heartland Alliance Information Technology department as the Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer. In this role, she focuses on integrating innovative technology solutions across the globe, multiple platforms and focused on cyber security. Prior to joining Heartland Alliance, Carla spent many years in the private sector at high-tech industries, start-up sector and managing several transformation initiatives. She brings deep expertise in global rollouts of Enterprise ERP, CRM, data warehouse / management, governance, cyber security, cloud strategies and mobility solutions across multiple sectors.

Stephen Lavin, Chief Technology Officer, Redbox

Stephen Lavin is the Chief Technology Officer at Redbox. Stephen and his team are charged with all internal and external technology innovations, technology transformations, product implementation and execution (hardware and software), and delivering performance driven, low cost business products and technology service solutions for the company. Prior to his role at Redbox, Stephen led all Technology initiatives at Outerwall Inc., the former parent company of Redbox, Coinstar and ecoATM. Stephen was responsible for innovation strategies for all infrastructure and operations, technology R&D, business process engineering strategies, and technology execution for new adjacencies and new ventures as a shared service across the enterprise.

Stephen has also held various technology leadership positions at RedSky Technologies, Abbott Laboratories, and Arthur Andersen.
A native New Yorker, Stephen attended Brooklyn Technical High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree from New York University. Stephen currently resides in Chicago.

 

Anson Johnson III, Director of Information Technology, USG

Anson B. Johnson III is director of IT Operations for Chicago-based USG Corporation, an industry-leading manufacturer of building products and innovative solutions. In this role, Johnson is responsible for IT networking and infrastructure, as well as end-user computing and regional IT staff across North America. Previously, Johnson served as IT Director and Operations Director for Waste Management and Stericycle.  Johnson holds a master’s degree in communications systems and strategy from Northwestern University, a bachelor’s degree in finance from North Central College and a degree in computer graphics engineering from the State University of New York.

 

Constantine J. Koulis, Director of Information Technology, Forest Preserves of Cook County

Constantine Koulis is an IT enthusiast with +15 years of professional experience in the IT leadership, project management, application deployment, client relationship management and business development.

Currently Constantine holds the title of Director of Information Technology with Forest Preserves of Cook County supervising the IT dep. and serving the +500 employees with their IT needs and being the intermediate with other IT agencies from Cook County.

Prior returning to US with his wife 4 years ago, Constantine was raised, studied and worked in different countries in Europe giving him the privilege to intersect with different cultures and people.

Georgiana Wagemann, Regional Director, Darktrace

Georgiana Wagemann is a Regional Director at Darktrace, the world’s leading machine learning company for cyber defense. Georgiana focuses primarily on accounts across the Midwest and has worked extensively with clients across numerous industry verticals, from Financial Services to Insurance, helping them deploy Darktrace’s Enterprise Immune System, the only AI technology capable of detecting and autonomously responding to early-stage cyber- threats.

Danny Johnson, Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder, Pinkcoin Foundation Inc.

Danny is one of the most knowledgeable people in the blockchain sector in Chicago. He found bitcoin in 2012. Tired of seeing the bad press around bitcoin and other issues facing the crypto community, he created Pinkcoin 2014. Pinkcoin is a blockchain based donation platform for social impact. Debbie Scott has over 28 years of experience in Information Technology. In her current role at SAP she is Vice President for the North America Center of Excellence for the Digital Enterprise Platform team.
